MediSapiens has been invited to join the EU Gateway Healthcare and Medical Technologies Business Mission week in Seoul, South Korea, 12.-16. March 2018. The Mission week brings together innovative organizations from around the globe to collaborate and find new partnerships through B2B matchmaking meetings and visits to local businesses.
Biotechnology is one of the fastest growing industries in Korea and the government strongly supports developments in the field. This growing market offers great opportunities for companies like MediSapiens that have innovative and core technologies to offer for the Korean biotechnology industry.
The Korean population is aging rapidly, creating a need for new innovations in the health sector and as Finland has similar aging demographics, the two countries are facing similar challenges in the future. To tackle these challenges, collaborations between biotechnology companies and public operators is needed. The FinnGen project is a great example of a joint project of this kind and one that MediSapiens actively participates in. The project aims at improving human health through genetically profiling 500.000 Finns, and combining that with a rich set of clinical data to identify new therapeutic targets, as well as diagnostic and prognostic markers for treating numerous diseases.
MediSapiens provides software solutions that are used by pharmaceutical companies, diagnostics companies, biobanks, clinical institutions and research institutions, delivering insight in an actionable format for drug discovery, biomarker discovery, translational research and diagnostics solutions. With the adaptive technology platform MediSapiens can provide solutions for future health today. MediSapiens is excited to join the EU Gateway Healthcare and Medical Technologies Business Mission week in Korea and we look forward to exploring business and collaboration opportunities in the market!
